Reminder that all hands on deck are expected for this event as it is a major source of donations and really brings the community out. Fireman’s Breakfast will be followed by Parade, BBQ, Rodeo and finally Street Dance.
General Ambulance Issue (Becky): Some PCR's are coming in that are only a paragraph long. They are not thorough enough, the person reading them needs to be able to picture the scene. Also you have to documents all items used on the patients to make sure billing is accurate and all supplies are properly accounted for. Please use the SOAP method for reporting . S= what you were told, O= what you personally saw, A= What do you want the hospital to rule out ie: head injury, stroke, low blood sugar, etc. P= your whole plan from start to finish ie: from car to cot, etc.
General Ambulance Issues (Stacy): Only a couple reports of paging issues in Clarkston area
TJ: Issues with Lifepak 15, could not get it to work at all on a call. Problem was the electrodes. Please check electrodes if you have a problems with it, if there is yellow on them you should throw them out and get a new bag. Also remember to keep the pouch in a ziploc, as that helps them keep longer. For those of you who did not know, Sam sent a letter that she is stepping down as Captain because she is simply spread too thin. She is not leaving the service, she will try t be as active as she can with her limited schedule. Members of her team will be assigned to other teams. Pete's team will now include Sam, Jonelle and David. TJ's team will now include Traci and Brad.
Sam and Pete were not present.
Scheduling: Please sign up. Lots of open/empty days.
