Also reminder the Ambulances have been rotated: 1st out Amb 1 in center bay, 2nd out is Amb 3 located in W Bay, and 3rd out is Amb 2 located in E bay. Please keep in mind there have been electrical/battery issues with Amb 2 and remember to leave the rig running, even at the hospital. You can unload your patient and pull rig outside hospital bay park so you can leave running.
New Business:
Maintenance (Pete): Spring cleaning is coming soon, when the weather improves. We will need volunteers to come in and help out not only with the bldg but with the rigs too. Please check fuel log located on visor with charge card for record of last fill up.
Supplies (David): Supplies ordered: 22ga IV's, o2 bag for Traci, speed blocks and OB kit for Amb 2. When writing requests on board, if they are not for ambo inventory, please make sure you let David know who the are for. He ordered an adjustable npa, but is unsure who it was ordered for. Safety Officer (Cindy): Please be extra cautious when getting out of rigs so you dont slip on ice and end up under the ambulance, Cindy had a close call. Costco is carrying Yak Trax slip on ice traction for $10. Please let Becky know if you are interested in a pair if they still have them.
Any Other:
General Ambulance Issues (Becky): Trip reports have been incomplete. Please remember to complete top portion. Reports have to be into the State within 48 hrs. We have 24 hrs to get our reports to the Captains, and the Captains have 24 hrs to submit reports to the State. We had 23 calls for December: 12 transports and 11 refusals. Scissors in office were found broken in trash. If something like that happens, please just write it on the board, they were needed to cut run reports.
General Ambulance Issues (Stacy): Pagers are still have some problems. Please continue to let Stacy know if you missed a page. If you are responding to a call please make sure to select RESP/UNVL/SCENE, etc so others can see who is responding in case you cant get thru on radio. CSCEN is for Clarkston on scene and CTRAN is for Clarkston responding and avail to transport. Transport requests from Three Rivers clinic (non emergent interfacility transfers) will be paged out as transport requests and will not be paged to AMR. If the clinic calls 911 to request emergent transport, AMR should be dispatched along with us, but please verify. CAD system is undergoing some changes, we should know more next month. Calls that carry "C" might not generate request to AMR. Please make sure they are in route if you need them.
Sac Fund Raiser (Cindy): No updates, Sac is closed for winter. Should reopen in Feb.
