Called to order at 18:46.
Minutes of previous meeting approved.
Introduction of guests: none
Last Month's Training: Patient Assessment Training went well, practiced some scenarios.
Maintenance (Pete): Light bulbs are in for Amb 3, Pete will get them changed out this week. Sequencer in Amb 3 did not come on immediately, traced wires back and jiggled them, and then came on. Note it usually takes 3-4 seconds to come on. Please let Pete know if this continues.
Supplies (David): All items on board were ordered and have come in except Epi-pens. CVS Pharmacy has apparently come out with a generic Epi-pen that is FDA approved for around $100, which is considerably less than the other brands. Not sure if they will have an Epi-pen Jr or not.
Safety (John): One safety concern with cot was noted on a recent call. The front wheels of the cot rolled over the front catch bar and got stuck when loading a heavy patient. Concerns that not many members are wearing safety glasses. John will bring in an example of what they use at the plant and go thru what is stored upstairs to see if we need to order more.
Training and Events:
March 25th and 26th PHTLS (16 slots total, only 3 slots remain). Please let TJ know if you or someone you know is willing to be a patient.
