Issues: Money – from August to present we have raised about $55K!!! With that we have been able to make at least double our monthly principle payments.
Checking $9,850 Savings $6,000
We do have some large payments this month so please keep requests for new equipment or large items for future wish lists. We have annual insurance ($5000) as well our Physio Contract ($3000) this month.
Please when you go on a call, fill out the trip report (not the notes but the report form) with patient deets and care/meds/equipment used so it can be billed appropriately.
Remember when doing a 12-lead on our new Lifepak 15 that we need to set the pt’s AGE because it defaults to a 50 y/o male. It will give a more accurate reading especially when the pt isn’t close to being a 50y/o male.
Please refrain from calling on the radio or phone (or text) when another crew is on a call. Let them run the call.
Poppy Dahl – 2 y/o female with many health issues. Address is 110 Milwaukee (across from Dahl Autobody) There are info sheets in each ambulance as well as at the station. We need to call AMR for an intercept on this one for a while no matter what. Her mom (Christy) is very knowledgeable on everything about her. We will try to get her to come to our next business meeting on May 4th
EMS Week: May 17th-23rd
We will host an open house at the station on May 16th from about 11-3pm. Pete will be coming forward with more details as they come together
Also would like any cool EMS items you may have for a window display at Three Forks Saddlery
We are looking at having our EMS Supper at the Rancher’s Table at the Headwaters Livestock on Monday, May 18th. More details and confirmation to come.
Our summer BBQ fundraiser: there is a couple that would like to cater the event (we’ve hauled the husband multiple times) and we discussed a possible date of July 11th.
Refresher: we need to throw around some options for having our refresher this fall. It was brought up to do a Saturday/Sunday one weekend that ALL EMT’s and AEMT’s will need to attend than another Saturday that AEMT’s will need to attend to complete their 36hr refresher (EMT’s need 24hrs). If there are people that want to teach or help in anyway please speak up because it’s a lot of work and can be great if we all pitch in.
T-Shirts: We will be placing a t-shirt order soon so please ASAP let TJ know what you would like as your yearly t-shirt (members get one free a year.) If you would prefer a long sleeve or jacket you will pay the difference but you are welcome to do this.
Radio: Stacy has been talking to Clarkston Fire Chief as well as Bruce to get run cards straightened out… more on that next meeting
Pete: Created a spreadsheet that shows members’ call volume so that we can track involvement. It is update weekly or bi-weekly as Becky sends the info to Pete.
Remember that we are beginning our 4th month in the 6 month 2-transport policy requirement. Please do what you can to meet the requirement.
EMT class is going well. We always need pts and proctors and such for scenarios and skills. If you plan on coming this Saturday please let Cindy or TJ know so that they can plan the scenarios accordingly and plan lunch as well.
With the sloppy weather, please consider washing the ambulance when you get back from an especially messy call. There is a wash bucket with soap on the work bench at the far end of the bays.
Reminder: there is a list of weekly station duties on the wall by the office. Also, there are leave of absence request forms there if you are going to gone over 2 weeks.
If anyone would be interested, might be good to have a BP check station at the Town Pump to get us some exposure and possibly generate some donations.
TJ: Dress shirts are here. If you don’t have yours, please call TJ!
May 4th’s meeting will be picture day. Please where dark pants or slacks with your Dress shirts for a group and individual picture. We want everyone to do this so please be present.
Putting together D-fib & inventory binders so it will be more formatted
Please keep in mind all the events this summer and that we may need more hands around town for calls
Online calendar has been great about filling vacant days, but please remember that there are others needing to sign up as well so (ie) if you can take all the Sundays please just sign up for a few and give others to sign up at or before the meeting. Thereafter, we greatly appreciate you dedicating your time!
Reminder that there are students trying to go as ride-alongs still so you may have some unfamiliar voices and faces.
Brent has completed his 6 probation runs and will be taking some shift days.
Sam: Finished IV certification so now Stacy, Becky, Jeri, & Sam are cleared to administer IV’s
Thanks to Team 3 for taking the time to do defib, inventory, and station duties this month!
There are a couple spots open on the calendar still for April. Please take a moment and sign up if you can. Www.calendarwiz.com/threeforksambulance
