Members Present: Becky, TJ, Kelly, Traci, Diana, Jonelle, Brad, Kim, John, Natalie and Board Member Bruce.
Minutes of previous meeting 07/10/17 approved.
Intro of guests: none
Last Month's Training (CPR): Training was run by Kim and was very informative and well received. All agreed we should practice this again.
Maintenance (Pete): Reminder to turn off battery switch in Amb 2, it was accidentally left on last use.
Supplies (David): None
Safety (John): Reminder of safety when it comes to patients belongings. On a recent call, bear spray was found in backpack in ambulance, could have created a big problem for the whole crew.
Training and Events (TJ and Kim):
August 21st: Driving Classroom Portion. Driving Course date tbd
Sept 16th and 17th: Moto X Races Pipestone. We will be sending one rig with 4 people hopefully. That way if the need for transport arises we will still have a pair of EMT's onsite. Breakfast and Lunch is provided. This is a paid opportunity.
Sept 18th: IC Training and Live Scenarios
October 16th: Geriatrics
November 3,4,5,11 Refresher Course
December 14th or 18th Christmas Party
T shirt Order: All taken care of.
Rodeo Weekend and BBQ: Our BBQ Fundraiser was a HUGE Success! It would not have been such a success without all of us who participated. We raised over $4500 in donations, which netted the service about $3800. The Silent Auction was wonderful and the Kids Games/Bouncy House were a hit. Planning will probably start a lot earlier in the year next year.
Halloween: Decision was made to not have Haunted House this year. We will revisit next year to see if we want to bring it back.
General Amb Issues (Becky): We are awaiting a price quote from Stryker for a new stair chair, and will probably end up buying a new one then a refurbished one. Repairs on Amb 1 are on hold until the new rig arrives and is put into service. Date of delivery on new rig is still not known. Patient Reporting system has changed from HIRMS to Image Trend. Those who missed the training will have to get acquainted with the new program. It feels a little intimidating at first with all the red boxes you see, but isnt so bad once you realize all the red boxes are what you need to fill in. Please let Becky know if you can help with the Refresher and/or Xmas Party planning.
Captains Reports (TJ): Thank You to everyone for all your help and support. Please keep an eye out for extra calls this weekend with Rockin the Rivers going on. Eagle Ambulance will be covering the event, but will call on us if they get overwhelmed.
Scheduling: Please check online for days that still need covered.
Run Reviews for July 2017 were discussed. July 2017 we had 39 pages out and 20 transports. It was a busy month.
Defib and Inventory Team 1 (TJ) assignments were given.
Next Meeting: 09/11/17 because of Labor Day
