Last Month's Training: Endorsements Review training went well and was well received.
Maintenance (Pete): 1st out rig order has been changed, they are running by correct number now (Amb 1 is 1st out, Amb 2 is 2nd out and Amb 3 is 3rd out). Heat has not wanted to come on in the back of Amb 2. Rock chips and lights have been fixed.
Supplies (David): none
Safety (John): Reminder to be safe out there, recent stories of Paramedics in Dallas shot in the line of duty while responding to a shooting. We have to exercise caution especially when responding to calls where weapons or violence is involved. Dont be afraid to call for LE if you feel you need them. It can happen here in small town Montana too!

We also received a donation from Seiler's Hardware of 100 hide a key boxes to give out to the community. We will be handing out flyers, posting ad in window of Saddle Shop.
Rodeo Weekend and BBQ (TJ): ALL HANDS ON DECK FOR THIS EVENT PLEASE! This is a major event for us. Committee will start meeting on Tues after May training. TJ is handling advertising, including the radio. Cindy is handling the Silent Auction. Becky is in charge of food. Looking for ideas on games. We will kick the weekend off with the Fireman’s Breakfast, then the parade, followed by our lunch, then the Rodeo and finally the Street Dance. We need everyone to step up and help out. Not only do we need standby crews, we need town covered and our BBQ covered. Please share all your ideas.
General Ambulance Issues (Becky): Our building was inspected by Medicare Investigator, and we need to get our sign put in the ground so we look more permanent. There has apparently been a huge problem with places opening up fake store fronts (ie: Physical Therapy, Rehab, etc) and billing medicare for bogus services. Very sad. Note takers on calls need to document everything used so patients are properly billed ( nasal cannula, blood sugar, ice pak, etc). We have to keep track of expenses. Speedometer needs to be reset on every call to keep track of mileage also.
Pete: Thanks to everyone. Reminder that our busy season is coming up. Call volume is expected to increase as Gallatin County is the fastest growing county in Montana and we now have the 3rd highest population in the state. We need everyone to step up and pitch in.
TJ: Thanks to everyone for covering events and responding. Please remember we are all a team and each of us plays an important role in this service. Quick note that our newest member has not been cleared to drive, her probation is up in June and our Driver Training is in July. She should still be responding as a 3rd until then, even though she is very much capable and has been doing great. If all else fails, call for a driver from TF Fire.
