Meeting Minutes September 12, 2016
Meeting called to order at 1833.
Members present: Pete, TJ, Brad, Sam, Kim, Kelly, Traci, Jonelle, John and Board Member Bruce.
Minutes of previous meeting approved.
Correspondence: Thank You note from Casey Amy.
Last Month's Training: August Drivers Course went well, all but 5 members were in attendance. Next year the course will be different and held in Willow Creek.
Other: Landscaping has been approved for sod up to 24" from the road. Back lot access from Main St has been denied. Please access the back parking lot from the alley.
Maintenance (Pete): Man door on Amb 1 (r side) is broken and will not open. Bulbs just came in for Amb 2.
Supplies (David): David will be back next week. All supplies on board were ordered. If we need anything else please write it on the board then take a picture and send it to him.
Training and Events:
September 17: Colters Run at Headwaters Park at 0815. We have a parking spot reserved and will be sending one crew. Please let Sam know if you would like to attend. Volunteers will receive lunch and a t shirt.
September 19: Scenarios- moving and packaging. Will also cover communications, reports, and calendar training.
October 17: Cardiac Arrest and Stroke with Becky
First Responder Classes with TF Fire will be held at our station every Tues in Sept from 1800-2200 and on the 1st 2 Saturdays of October from 0800 to 1600. Please let TJ know if you would like to help out with any classes and talk to Cindy if you would like to help with scenarios.
Safety Officer (Cindy): Please email Cindy with any safety concerns or issues or if you would like a topic discussed at an upcoming meeting.
Halloween Event (Cindy): Meeting will be held on Sept 19 after Training. Please plan on attending if you are interested in helping out.
General Ambulance Issues (Stacy): Please remember to not leave your radios on the chargers all the time, it ruins the batteries. Handout was given on Collecting Patient Information. Please read thru this and bring to training next week, we will be discussing it. TJ is getting ready for the annual T Shirt order. He will have order sheet at next weeks training. Each member is allowed 2 (T shirt, long sleeve shirt, polyester shirt) per year at no cost. Any additional shirts will be at members expense. TJ will look into getting polos covered as an option. He will have samples if you want to see them and/or try them on.
Sam: As always, thanks to all. It is our teams turn for chores this month. Email assignments went out. Please remember to use the white folders in the office on the bookshelf (Amb 1, 2, 3) for your inventory and defib checks. Please do not record defib checks in the black folder the the drawer any longer.
Pete: Thank You to everyone for your hard work. Please plan on a couple hours training next week. We will be adding Calendar training with Kim so we can all see just everything the calendar can offer.
TJ: Welcome back to Stacy. Thank You to everyone for your help.
Scheduling: Lots of gaps this month. Please check the calendar and sign up if you are available, even if it's only for a couple hours.
Run Reviews: August 2016 had 19 pages out, 9 transports and 13 refusals.
